She is adept at managing business and financial strategies, resource allocation, and leading large teams in both corporate and community initiatives.
Dr. Codi’s commitment to community service is evident through her advocacy for early education, mentoring, economic justice, and reforms in the prison and juvenile justice systems. She has served as a guardian ad litem and children’s mental health advocate and is the founder and chair of Community Alliances and Improvements, Inc., a non-profit focused on education and social justice. Dr. Codi has also been involved in teaching financial literacy and entrepreneurship to both youth and adults in her community.
As an entrepreneur, Dr. Codi owns and partners in several businesses, offering a range of services from educational and financial coaching to business development strategies. Dr. Codi holds a law degree and three master’s degrees in business administration, taxation, and religion/divinity, along with certifications in fraud examination and healthcare/financial compliance. Her motto emphasizes the strength and potential of black women to drive healing and change in the nation, highlighting the importance of creating supportive spaces free from external influences.

She served in various capacities as a community advocate and has volunteered her time and expertise by quietly serving as a board member in her local government and private organizations.
